I took off my K&N, it lets way to much dirt in, but does anyone make a cold air intake tube that works with the stock cold air box? Just want to have a high flow tube with no resonator. 99 5.3 1500. Please post links or part numbers. Thanks!!!

That would be my last resort a plastic one, but thanks for at least a lead. I want something with bling, my old one was that type, a black plain k&n, but want something that will stand out under my hood.

Google TrueFlow. I have a TrueFlow set up which is a metal tube with heavy silicone connetors and it retains the OE box. I have had mine about 2 years and am very happy with it. Really looks nice under the hood and is almost as quiet as stock unless your foot is in the gas.

The set up comes with their oiled foam filter. I am not fully sold on it yet. Still doing some testing vs a stock paper filter.

I had the airaid tube and had to take it off. It sounded good under acceleration, but had a nasty loud resonance when towing my boat on the highway whenever the tranny down-shifted.

Just replace the cone filter on your K&N with a AEM cone filter. AEM makes all kind of sizes and i'm sure they will have one that will fit. Once the GMPP filter is spent on mine thats what I am going to do.
