Loss Of Transmission Control

Has anyone ever had this problem? When I put my truck in gear this morning, the odometer and gear indicator screen went blank and I had no gear. Shut the truck off and restarted and was able to go few feet before it did it again. Going down the highway I felt the transmission "shut off" again and came right back on, this time all the warning lights came on like I had just started the truck. Coming home it did it to me three more times. I am getting codes 700 and 1518. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was told that there is a switch or plug on the tranny that causes this problem. this was on a 3500 crew cab dually think it was an 03

This also sounds like an ignition switch problem. Mine did that the first time it went. The gauges went blank like it was off but the engine was running and I waited a second or two and they came back on. Then I had hard trans shifts, and it pulled all codes for the tranny, but luckly it was just a ignition switch. It sounds like what I had on my truck. Something for you to look in to, I guess.
