Prodigy Brake Controller Fuse For My Trusty Chevy

Guys,

If you've installed a Prodigy brake controller on your Silverado lately, I'd appreciate your advice. I've added a Prodigy brake controller to my '06 Silverado 1500. Everything went according to plan with one exception. The wiring harness that came from GM for this use included a "40A B+ trailering J-Case fuse" and these instructions:

"Do only one of the following:

1. For vehicles without the TP2 option (auxilliary battery) plug in the 40A B+ trailering J-Case fuse in the stud #1 location of the UH electrical center.

2. For vehicles with the TP2 option (auxilliary battery): discard the 40A B+ trailering J-Case fuse - it is not needed."

I'm not aware of an "auxilliary battery" in either my pickup or the horse trailer I'm towing. So it seems I need the fuse? If so, where is the "stud #1 location of the UH electrical center" ?
