Trying To Find The Right Grill..need Pics

I have been searching some of the accessory sites for a grill for my 07 nbs sierra.

A lot of the sites show just the grill and no pics of it installed. For those of you who have an aftermarket grill, can you post pics of it installed on your truck along with brand/model and maybe where you got it?

Im thinking about using the silver birch color matched grill idea from GM. I want the billet inserts (not mesh) and get my chrome grill pained silver w/ a billet bowtie.

Not too many of the CarriageWorks brand on Ebay, I just got lucky. Mostly just the cheap off-brands on there. BUT, you can get a CarriageWorks brand from most truck accessory shops for under $200. Do a Google search for "CarriageWorks grill"

That grille looks great. CarriageWorks makes good stuff. I think I need to get one for mine now... It's a boltover that doesn't require any cutting?

T-REX Billet Main and Bumper Grilles. The Main one is an insert not a overlay so you do have to cut out everything inside the grille shell. got them both from stillen

No cuttiing or drilling required for my CarriageWorks. it is a "Bolt-Over" and simply clamps over the existing grill.

What is the difference in skill necessary to perform the install on the bolt-over vs. the cut out CarriageWorks grills? Are the directions pretty clear? What is the margin of error on the install and how risky is it? I've never attempted much more than changing out bulbs, oil, or shocks on any of my vehicles.

 

I like the Denali grill style much better, and was tempted to get a Speed Grille (looks similar), but I didn't want to have my truck look like an imitation, poor-man's Denali, so I am leaning towards the billet (unless they start selling the Sierra All-Terrain grills.)

 

Also, does the polished aluminum match the chrome pretty flawlessly?

 

Does anyone have a black chrome Speed Grille, or pictures of one installed?

I cant seem to find the lower grille on stillens web site (by the way guys the t-rex has more bars than a carriage works 19 to 26 and yes it makes a big difference) can you post a link or something to find the lower grille? Also do you think it’s worth the time and effort to cut out instead of bolt over? With that many bars you would have a hard time seeing the old grille thru it, or am I mistaken?
