Jameson Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Im installing my leveling kit sometime this week and Im trying find out if I can run 22" wheels and 305/40R22 Nitto Dune Grapplers? Anyone know if this will be too big/small??
Rocco715 Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 with a leveling kit, you can run 305/45/R22 with the dune grappler, with the terra grappler I beleive you need a 40 series tire and I don't think nitto makes that size. Im a nitto tire fan myself and if you look on there site you can find out what the overall diameter of each tire is according to size. I'm probably going to be putting a 305/40/R22 or 305/35/R24 420S on my truck.
Jameson Posted October 16, 2007 Author Posted October 16, 2007 Thanks for the info. Im now rethinking the 22's and might opt for 20's instead. I just dont see the exact size tire I want for the 22's. Im thinking maybe some 22" Incubus Recoil wheels wrapped in 305/50R-20 Mickey Tompson ATZ's
Silverado4x4 Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Iam not a fan of big rims on a truck or car too getto looking but those tires and rims look nice, tires have a aggressive tread and the rims are tuff looking should look real good on yer truck. Big rims and low profile tires to me on a truck make them look to wussy looking and fragile, bigger tires then the rim it self gives the truck a tuff and mean look. To me trucks should look tuff and not affraid to run over a rock. I say go for the tires and rims you have in the picture.
