Hey guys,

So my SES is on and the OBDII reading says heat sensor on bank 1 and heat sensor on bank 2. I know these are the Oxygen sensors and no I haven't removed the cat. Can somebody tell me where to locate the sensors on bank1, and bank2? ie: is bank 1 on the manifold and bank2 after the cat?

Thanks

I crawled under there and I only have one after the cat. There is one on each pipe just after the manifold. Do you know which would be bank 1 and bank2?

thanks.

Bank 1 = driver's side

Bank 2 = passenger side

If your code translated to sensor 2 then it is after cat, sensor 1 is before the cat.

Both O2 are giving the same code? I would first clear the code and see what happens. I have had this happen to me when it was cold out and since I have long tube headers, the PCM didn't "feel" the primary O2's were sufficiently heated to go into closed loop. I ran a log and determined that the O2's were functioning properly (compared the narrowband readings to my wideband sensor) so I cleared the code and moved on. :)
