Rims/lug Nuts

Hey guys, I want to purchase some 24's for my 07 Silverado. What do I need to know before I go ahead and buy some rims. Also what kinds of tires will fit?

Also what types of bulbs are there for the headlight because i want to get a 10000k HID kit.

Need to find some wheel sensors so you can read the tire pressure on the DIC. Prob need to put a front leveling kit on it so the tires dont rub. I've heard to go with a 315-40-24.

To each their own, but here's my opinion:

Don't ruin your Silverado by putting clown wheels on it.

I've been looking at 24's myself and if its a 24 x 9.5 or a 24 x 10 then use 305/35/R24 rubber, for the lights the highbeams are 9005 and then low beams are H11. Make sure you go with digital HID's becuase if you go too low quality with the lights some sets don't even match. It also probably wouldn't hurt to go ahead and get a leveling kit too, you don't have to but it might allow you to be able to run a 40 series tire.

Not trying to pick on you punmax but as someone who makes a living buying and selling OEM wheels, I've got to agree with vmax2007. Frankly I love 22s, 24s and even 26s. The thinner the rubber the better because I make a good portion of my living straightening out pothole bends in these. I hope the style never goes away, job security. I do on occasion straighten a stock truck wheel but some of the custom low profile wheels bend when rolling over a popsicle stick. Another thing, (unscientific poll) I rarely hear of any owners of these tractor-sized wheels bragging about how much better their vehicles ride and handle. Do what you want (and I know you will) but you can't out-engineer GM 'cause I doubt they choose the crappiest wheels for their trucks knowing that folks test drive what they produce.

Just one more, I find the headlights on my GMT900 to be superb. A deer aint got a chance sneaking out of the woods on me. Some of the best distance and sidelighting I've seen on any vehicle. Color is pleasing and as a driver that meets oncoming traffic sporting those eerie blue projectors, we could use less of them. As a practical matter, it's getting so crowded on the road nowadays, polite drivers don't have that much of an opportunity to bring the photon torpedoes on line. Just my opionion.
