Calling All 99-03 Silverados

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out what kind mudflaps I want to put on, seeing as every other day my muffler tip and rockers get coated in mud. I'm wondering if you could post pictures of what kind you ahve, and any pro's/con's. I'm open to molded or hanging.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had GM molded mud guards on my '99 that were already installed when I bought it used. Husky sells good black molded mud gaurds for about $60 for all four depending on where you buy them. Just make sure you install the clear plastic film between the guards and the body to prevent rubbing and eventual rusting.

I'm not sure about the 99-02s, but drilling through the fender lip was required on the rear gaurds for my 07. The front ones used existing holes.

That's the best pic I have of them. They're just rubber, nothing special. (yes, I do know the one on the left is about 3 inches lower, I bought the truck with them already on)

Thanks guys, I'm liking the rubber ones, anyone know of an advantage to either one over the other?

Not sure how tough the hard ones are, but I'm assuming that they aren't flexible, so more liable to crack or break or something. I could be completely wrong though. With the rubber ones, they're rubber, so they'll just bend.
