Just wondering if anyone has any expierience with this. Planning on just adding to completely stock stereo and speakers, non bose non onstar 2004 silverado ext cab. Any input or advise appreciated. Thanks

I know what you are talking about, I looked at one on Crutchfield a long time ago when I was adding some bass to my ext. cab. Not sure how much it's gonna cost you, but I wouldn't recommend it. If memory serves, the enclosure isn't big enough to have alot of cubic volume, so I dont think it would be that great. I wound up getting an MTX thunderform enclosure with 2-10"s. That is gonna be more money, and it doesn't come with an amp. But they also make one for that truck that sits on only one side under the rear seat with one 10" sub (MTX).

 

The least money might be to go with some kind of custom carpeted enclosure for that truck, maybe from subthump.com or you might want to search ebay for one. You most likely could get either a single or dual like that, but you would have to buy a sub for it and an amp, unless you find one already loaded and ready to go.

Had a basslink x in my 2004 Sierra on the factory deck, it sounded good, it added some low end but not thundering bass. Sold the truck an bought a crew s-10. bought an Alpine deck for it and used the basslink temporarily till I got a box for behind the seat. I thought there was a huge difference and hooking it up to the stock deck and the alpine. I am now buying another sierra extended cab and I might be using it if I cant figure something out for behind the seat, but I am definitely putting the alpine deck in although I hate the aftermarket look in the dash. I got mine off ebay for alot better price. For a small amp/sub enclosure "I" think it sounds great.
