Exhaust Tone

As of now i have my exhaust dumped after the rear axle, would it be a noticable change if i cut it off before the axle ( a little ways after the muffler) or even run them out through the side in front of the wheel well? Or nothing special enough to even mess with it

dumping them after the muffler will increase the loudness volume a little bit. Not too much, it may also increase the interior volume/resonance too, depending how close it is to the cab.

 

same for running it side exit before the tire it will increase the sound a little, not much interior resonance.
