Big 3 Performance Supercharger 6.2l

Well I did it, bought the Big 3 supercharger package for my truck. I decided to go with the Vortec charger instead of the Paxton. The Vortec wines a little more especially with an afermarket exhaust (so I am told). I always liked t sound of a supercharger wine, so I went with the louder one.

After getting rid of my highly modded diesel, this truck doesnt seem the same, so I sucked it up and spent the money. I am sure the first time I take it in to the dealer for anything they will pretty much rip up my warranty, but I am rolling the dice on a good truck with little problems.

It is suppos eto take 13-15 hours. My buddy is a great mechanic, so the 2 of us are going to do it. Will take a lot of pics and post them on here. Wish me luck!

Get ready for some fun. A (GOOD) tune alone will toss that 6.2 Denali down the 1/4 in the LOW 14's, with that blower you'll be in the low 13's easy. The 6.2's have a lot left on the table from the factory, especially the tuning.

Absolutely correctamundo! I had Chuck from Corvettes of Westchester do my 08 Denali and it is a real blast to drive now. It is a shame how much GM chokes down these engines OE.

The new ZR1's also have the 6.2 but with supercharger. Awsome engines. Even put a peep hole in the hood to se it.

different engine, different heads, different style blower..

they dont make one for the 6.0 yet??? Whats up with that?

this'll work on a 07+ 6.0 (as well as any 99 and up fullsize truck, tbss still in the works) and gains a few more hp than the 144 i was quoted on the phone with them yesterday.

Oh yeah its less money, upgradable, more efficient, from a company that took over the vette world...where the demands are higher, and the space is less, the truck kit was a joy for them to work on...

its the same reason they're willing to offer a 100K mile driveline warranty

There are many differences, but the ZR1 does use a version of the LS9 6.2 liter engine, so I assume that the block and at least some components are similar.
