Why would you reconsider them?

 

A lot of those aftermarket lamps are pretty s**tty at doing what lamps are supposed to do. Driving behind them it is sometimes all you can do to see them. PLUS...Most look like something a 14 year old kid would put on his Civic IMHO.

If you want to change the tails... look into some LED tail lamps. They are bright and available in a variety of styles. You'll be safe and custom.

What brands?

I know somebody that has a set of TYC brand LED lights on his truck. He likes them and they put out a lot of light (unlike some regular bulb aftermarket lights). Its a big deal when you need to stop quickly to have the person behind you know it!
