Turn Signal Flashes Fast

I HAVE A 2007 CHEVY SILVERADO 2500HD HAD A KNAPHEIDE SERVICE BODY INSTALLED AND NOW MY TURN SIGNALS FLASH REALLY FAST . IT DOESN'T DO IT WITH THE 4 WAY FLASHERS ON. I HAVE TRIED DIFFERANT LIGHTS STILL NO HELP..PLEASE HELP

I believe that there are two seperate flashers, one for the 4-ways, one for the signals. You may have to find the turn signal flasher and switch it with the 4-way one to see if it corrects it. Could also be a poor ground like I had on my new camper.

If the lights on the service bed are LED they may need a new flasher for use with LED lights. They present a different load than a standard bulb type lights.

If they are standard bulbs, make certain all are flashing. Rapid flashing usually means one bulb is out... or the wiring to the new bed might not have a good ground somewhere. If that's the case, a little detective work is in order with a test light!

does the new body have led taillights?

they do make led flashers.I ran into the same problem when i installed led taillights on my C% corvette.Also,if you choose,solder an inline resister in the taillight harness to slow down the "hyperflashing",is what they call it,hope that helps!

they are not led's they took the stock rear lights off and they installed a 4" light on each side in the service body..i can not find a flasher in the truck. i have tried adding led lights it still does the same thing. it works fine with the 4 way flashers..i am just wondering if the truck has to be reprogrammed for the new lights.
