Transmission

Hey, I'm kinda new here so I will try to explain the problem the best I can. I have a 2007 chevy classic 5.3 reg cab, reg bed, 3.42 gears G80, 4l60 transmision, k&n cai, chevy perfomance exhaust aka (borla). From a stop I will start going 1/4 throttle, then I feel it shift into second and start to give it about 1/2 throttle and I feel like it finally gets all the way into 2nd gear, no jerking or anything no loss of power. Another way to explain it would be 1st, 2nd about a second of slack then a small shift all the way into 2nd. And if I give her hell she shifts just fine its just at slow speeds. I don't know any other way to expain, so any help would be great.

My 2000 does the same thing........ive heard many people describe this issue........seems to fall into the 'normal' catagory........
