Hello. I have a 1986 C10,5.0L,700R4,Factory installed A/C.I have recently replaced a leaking heater core.Had no issues removing and reinstalling heater core. What I have found is that there is a door adjustment(timing) procedure needed to keep two of the doors from coming in contact with each other. The doors in ? are.If I have the HVAC housing setting on the cab floor facing the correct installed postion.I'm looking at the door facing outward in the middle of the housing. This door when in max A/c postion is in the full open position. When switched to normal A/C mode it closes about 1/2.This door is connected directly to the vacuum actuator. On top of the door which sticks out the top of the housing there is a lever bolted onto the door. This lever connects to another door to the right(passenger side) of the door in the middle. At the rod connection at the second door there is a adjustment to time the door.If the adjustment is wrong the two door will rub and or hut each other and bind.I'm not sure the correct name of the second door. There has to be a adjustment prosedure for this door/rod to get the correct timing.I have no vacuum line issues. No vacuum line supple issues. My HVAC has one cable and it operates the temp door which is working as designed. And the other vacuum operated door operates the floor and defrost modes. And this is operating as designed. If some could please take a look at the Factory service manual and tell me about the door adjustment it would be great. If you drop the glove box you can see the rod in ?.And the point of adjustment.Thank you for your time.

Here are pics of the rod and connection in ?.The connection at circle B is what I'm working with.I have played with the timing of both doors and have them close.I would just like to have the correct information on adjustment(timing). There is no way its just a get it close and go situation. There has to be something in print. Some where.
