Road Trip

Well I'm taking a mini road trip.  Going to Grosse Point Park, MI early Friday morning, returning Sunday.  Grandpa's up at his place up here, gotta visit him before he takes off to Florida again.  Taking I-94 the whole way.  Anyone know of anything to look out for?  I've made the trip countless times before, but not in winter (I'm in Illinois, north of Chicago).  I know coming up around Lake Michigan I'll get hit with tons of lake effect snow, but other than that the trip should be uneventful.  Speed limit is 70 in MI right?  Hopefully no tickets this trip, I usually set the cruise at 8-9 over.  If anyone is right along I94 let me know, maybe grab a bite to eat while checking out each others trucks.

Check out Warren which isn't too far west of Gross Pointe where GM's tech center is.  I think Woodward Blvd isn't too far away from there.

As of yesterday, the lake effect snow machine was turned off for a few days.  No telling what later this week will bring.

I've been by GM's tech center once, that place is enourmous.  Glad to hear the lake effect snow has stopped, here's hoping it will stop til next week.
