Gmt900 Z71 5.3l And Gmt900 Z71 6.0l. Why Doese The 6.0l Ride Rougher?

I had a 2007 GMC cc Z71 with the 5.3L engine for 5-months. Friend of mine bought it from me. So, I went to dealer and told him I wanted the same truck, but with the 6.0L.

 

This truck rides stiffer than my old 5.3L. Same exact options other than the engine. Is it because the 6.0L requires stiffer springs because its heavier than the 5.3L engine??

 

Both had the Z71 package, both had the heavy duty suspension and on both cut sheets with gm codes, the only difference is the engine code of L76 (6.0L)

it has a heavier trans and engine.

 

If you look on the door jam it probably weighs 300+ pounds more than your truck did. It probably has stiffer shocks too.
