Got 2 inch shackles installed today to bring the back of it down, may go ahead and pull the 1 inch blocks as well as it still sits a bit higher then the front... but it does make a nice difference in the handling...

also got the bed sprayed and a low profile toolbox dropped back there ... nice to not have the glare of a white bed in the rear view again haha ...

wasn't to bad .. for all of it installed (about 3 hours work) was in the 850$ range

Looks real nice, I like that tool box

UWS is from my home town. Completely rich kids, but their kids are always in jail.

But I have a RDS box, which is also made in my home town. But I'd rather have a CDI box, which is from their also, and their quality is alot better. But all three have their pro's and con's.

I like the spray in, I don't think I saw what kind it is. What is it?

is the company the place i got it done at gets their chemicals for the bedliner ...

i have seen ones they have done on and off for the past 12 years ... and so far all of them are still holding up great ... only know of 1 that had to be retouched ... but that was after having a 350 block tumbling around in the bed for about 4 months non stop ... and even then it was just a few little nicks from where the metal had been dented real deap ...

there isn't much of a selection for what i consider a fair price for toolboxes in my town ... so i just went with what they carried ... only thing i see about it so far is i will be putting a thicker gasket on the lid ... but thats about it ...

if i have problems with the finish on the box they have already offered to spray it with the bedliner stuff for me ... (may get that done when i get them to spray the wheel wells in the rear)

That's what I'm talking about brother. Did the same thing. A proper height for a work truck. I'm going to let my 1" blocks ride awhile 'til I see if my typical loads cause a problem.

thats the same reason i left mine alone for now .. to see how it is while i am working .. if it is holding up good will try it with the blocks out.
