Nebraska Newbe Checking In.

Hi everyone. I just bought an 05 Silverado Crew Cab K1500 with 34,xxx miles on it. It is fully loaded as I can tell. It's my favorite color, Victory Red. I spent the big bucks and got the extended warranty. I've only had it 3 days, have burned a tank of gas already and am averaging 18 mpg with the 5.3 engine. I simply love this truck and am running out of excuses to take it out for a drive. It has no issues yet, has no dings or scratches and I'm the kind that will baby it forever. Not much more to add except I'm glad I found this place and will spend a lot of time here, reading and learning.

If this works, it is the pic posted by the dealer when I found the truck for sale. It's snowing and blowing here and the truck needs washed before showing it off proper. This will have to do till then.

Love that color - Husker Red!!!

Now that Callahan is finally out and Bo is back in (with Tom's guidance don't cha know), we can get back to having a top notch team with the most feared defense in the nation! I just hope Callahan applies at Oklahoma, Texas, LSU or ??? so he can screw their programs up.

Well it's nice to know that the cornhuskers are represented here by all the Nebraskans. Lot's of nice trucks also.

I do know where Craig is, It's about 60 miles Northeast of me.

I'm actually in Emerald.

Chess, we must be nearly neighbors. so I'm also real close to and know people in Crete also.

Red has always been my favorite color, even as a youngin. When I found the truck for sale I may have been overwhelmed by the color and condition and had to have it. I'd like to get some pics but it is covered in ice and snow and can't wait for better weather and a wash job.

I too am excited to see what the Big Red Machine will do with Bo at the helm, I love the huskers nearly as much as Big Red (my truck).
