Tranny Flush Q's

Hey guys,

I am doing a tranny flush this coming weekend and wanted to know what everyone is running for fluid in there 4L80's. I am going to do it myself so any tips or order of operation for the change, would be helpful. Thanks

Use the new dextron IV, that is the new factory fill for the GM stuff. I know it is what came in my 2006. I am pretty sure it is a synthetic. Good luck!

Use Royal Purple ATF. Smoothest shifts I have ever felt and excelent longevity. Although there is that heavy price tag............

The Dexron VI would be a good upgrade to go to. Pennzoil makes a good quality fluid if you can find the Dexron VI. AMSOIL's ATF is another good quality fluid that you can use as well. It is easy to do the flush at home here is a guide to go by.
