Vibration While Braking

Have a question, while backing out of my drive way after the truck has been sitting all night in 30 degree weather the truck has a vibration in the front end while applying the brakes. The vibration is not severe but can be felt in the brake peddle and steering wheel. The vibration makes a loud noise. By the time I get to the end of the block and brake at the stop sign the vibration is gone. The truck does not exhibit the problem the rest of the day during daily driving. This has happened the past two mornings, the truck was off road in the mud this past weekend at the deer lease but gave me no problems while at the lease.

From your description and judging from the fact that it goes away, I think it's just brake rotors getting a light glaze of corrosion overnight in the cool dampness. If so, nothing to worry about.

If the vibration felt in the brake PEDAL(!) would not go away, it would be caused by warped rotors. As it is, Zembonez is probably right.

The vibration has gone away, however it has been warmer the past two days and not damp. Just find it odd as I have never experienced this problem with my 03 Chevy silverado or my 04 Ford work truck. Just more nuisance than a real problem I guess. If it continues I guess I will take it to the stealer and have them check out the brakes... I have only had the truck three months and it has 4800 miles on it
