Need Some Help.

I recently put a new Pioneer 6900 Deck in my 99 GMC Sierra 1500 (newboddy).

The only problem is my dash lights dont work (spedometer, gas gage, oil gage everything up there.) Same with my Heat controls. Also after the truck is shut off and the door has opened and closed. My gas gage and oil pressure gage come back on.

 

ALSO WHEN I TURN MY DOME LIGHT ON MY DASH LIGHTS ALL COME ON!

 

I do not remember touching anything to do with that wiring though.

Right after noticing that my Lights were not working i put back in the stock deck to see if it worked then but no luck. Same results.

 

I have checked all my fuses there all in good shape.

I relooked over the wiring to my deck all wires match up which shouldnt matter anyway cause the stock deck doesnt use the harness.

Im out of ideas on what the problem is.

I did break the top part of a clip hooking back the wire to my Heat controls but i dont see that doing any damage it was piece of plastic.

 

So any ideas?

did you disconnect all of it to see if the truck went back to the way it was?

Don't know if you did it or even if it will work, but maybe try disconnecting the battery for a while, and let all the systems reset. Probably won't fix the problem, but it is free and can't hurt.
