Where Is The Temp Probe?

Where is the outside temp probe located on a 04 2500HD CCSB Silverado? My friend just got the truck and the mirror is reading 50-70 degrees F when it is only 20 degrees out! I have a feeling the truck is reading the heat off the hood or something around that location. Anyone know?

Got a picture by any chance? I think he may have hit it or mis-placed it when he installed his plow, now it is reading excess radiator heat.
