Brake And Abs Lights

New to posting hope this is right. I have 2006 silverado 1500 LT V8 Ext Cab. Bought new 02/06. Since new about every 3 months the brake and ABS lights on dash come on briefly. I will be driving along and hear 1 or 2 chimes and when I look at dash the brake and ABS lights are just going off. When it first happend it took while to figure out which lights were on. They are on very short time. When I hear chime by time I look at dash they are going off. Told dealer in 08/06 they said there was nothing in computer and they would have to see it happen. When in for service 10/07 told dealer about it again. It happened on labor day weekend 07. They said there was a bulliten about a bad ground. They cleaned and reatached a ground said that should solve problem. I was driving on 12/20/07 when I heard 3 chimes looked at dash, brake and ABS light were on and went right off. Truck runs great and brakes seem fine. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank You Jim

I think i remeber someone before saying about somethig like this and it turned out the ABS wheel sensors where dirty and sending false signal, they cleaned them and it was ok again.

hi,it is possible to have a u code,or a comms issue,maybe there is a programing update for the EBCM,if you feel that your options are finished with the dealer you were using ,simply try another ,do not relay any info from me ,just start over ,you could take it back to the first dealer ,but i wouldn't,good luck

that dealer is BULLSH*TING YOU. whenever a abs failure current or not it stores the failure in history. have the dealer check history dtc data and get the code.
