Tax Discount On Flex Fuel Truck Purchase?

If you bought a new flex fuel truck in 2007, does the IRS give you an extra discount like they do with hybrids?

 

I thought I read somewhere we get $600 but Im not sure of the stipulations.

 

 

anyone know if we do or dont?

not that i am aware of ... the only 'alternative fuel' ones that they list as qualifying are the ones that run on propane or natural gas

There are alot of changes this year. It is unfortunate, but I have to agree with the President... This is the worst congress is 20 years!

the talk of changes is a joke almost ... basically all that they finally passed ... was the same thing that was passed the year before ... same junk since the 60's ...

 

but careful with this conversation ... politics don't mix well around here.

Well from my understanding the changes will put our ag/farming folks back in the sixties.

 

My advice is you check with your tax advisor like HR Block.

that right there will tell you more then any 'local tax advisor' ...

 

heh i am a network admin for one of those 'local tax advisors' ... and i can tell you from experience ... most of the ones that work at em .. know just what is on the screen in front of them ... when it comes to other peices .. even they have to stop and ask questions ...
