i put this truck together last winter me and a friend with the help of my dads garage and one of his tow trucks

its a project someday soon it might finally be to where i want it. i just need a few more things. lol

 

oh and i have gotten the name "Short Stack" because of the stacks on my truck + its my cb handle.

Nice truck. It's probably not something I would do to one, but it looks like you've done a good job of bringing it all together.

That is one badass truck! What do you do abut the stacks when it rains?

i am trying to make it more stock since alot of the parts i dont have. im trying to make it looks nice. like getting gap gaurds, and bed rails, and so on.

 

its only a 350, i wish it was a diesel.

 

and when it rains it just kiinds sits at the bottom of the stacks and when i start it up a ton of black crappy water shoots out.

How does it sound with those big stacks? Never heard a gasser with stacks.

its got a really low echo sound to it. sometimes it hits the right rpm and it shakes the dome light out and makes every thign rattle its so deep. but im running mufflers in it right now but they can be taken out in about 1 min .

 

im only 16 and this is my frist car (truck in my case). but im learning every step of the way. before i built this truck i had NO idea what half of anything was. now i know 100% more than what i used to know about trucks and cars in genral. this is a great project. my parents always say it keeps me out of trouble. Belive it or not i only have $2500 in this truck with all my accesories and tune ups and everything.

Hey man when are you going to get a sound clip of your truck! You guys have done a great job with that truck!! Ever thought about getting those tractor like rain guards that flap up and down to keep water out? I dont know how they would work with your set up but I think it would be something that I would want to try!
