Most of the people that post here are normal Americans, you are not. Remember Detroit did'nt bomb Pearl Harbor. :)

They don't like you because you are a troll.

Go to the toy board, this one is for real trucks. :dunno:

I think we should all just ignore this guy from now on. Let's not add fuel to the fire.

Consider it done...I think we are all tired of that knucklehead.

Speaking of...

I smile, just a little, every time I see these words on my screen :

You have chosen to ignore all posts from: trailrider325.

After the first few posts of his, I knew it'd save myself some frustration, on down the road, if I just put him on ignore.

Man, that is a really cool feature. I had no idea we had that setting. Thanks! :dunno:

No problem! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :dunno:

When I first started coming across his posts, I just knew I'd make an @$$ of myself, if I didn't find some way to put him on ignore. After poking around for a few minutes, I finally found the way to do it! :)

For those who don't know how to do this, the easiest way I have found is :

  • Go to the User's profile screen.
  • Under Options (under their Personal Photo, if they have one selected), click the Options drop-down.
  • Select "Ignore user"
  • Follow the rest of the prompts.

There may be another way to do it, but that's the one I found...

wow, Toyota's are junk. You just wasted a whole lot of hard earned dollars, and you live in NH, we have real winters up here, I'm from Maine, let me know how that foreign grocery getter does in tomorrows snow storm, oh ya tell me how bad the chassis flex is.

I can picture it now and predict that your license plate for 09 will read... Toyoscks! And than your signature will say the following!

GM owner for 20 years, disgraced america and GM for 2 and now(future) FOREVER ETERNAL GM.

Especially the way the Toyo's reputation has been for the past several months with all the different quality issues, safety**, and just all time failure. Just compare Toyo with Nissan! Nissan built a somewhat descent full size 1/2 ton which is I would say prob. about 10 times better than the fundra because the simple fact that they didnt experience half the issues in several years as opposed to several months for Toyota. And for nissan that was their very first model and make half ton. Look where they are at now, almost just the same as they were in 2000 about "bank overdriven". There is talk about canceling the Titan line or selling/merging over to dodge.

If you look at Toyo, they have had a decade or 2 trying to build a half ton truck that had been so far a failure and in Gm's eyes still yet a failure. Common man 16,000 trucks already recalled. Last year Toyo recalled more vehicles than they made. And toyo never even sold more trucks than the titan in a month the last time I checked.. Even though sale when up close to 50% but thats cause you couldnt pay people to buy that crap. :dunno:

For me I would be the most retarted person in the world if I bought anything but GM. Never owned anything else never will. Especially since GM discount is in my blood. If it wasnt for the discount, and if I was forced to pay double over anything else to stay in a GM vehicle. I would pay double over driving anything else!

Yeah he will drive that thing off of the road and mess up the paint!

I used to be that people would think long and hard and do tons of research for every dollar spent. Now people just go out and buy crap.

no one likes me it's not my fault you guy's own gm products

HECK YEAH we own GM products. And we are where we belong. Why arent you on the Tundra forum? Or had even that fallen apart by now???

I can just imagine how depressing it is over on that site:

"Today I hit a pot hole the size of a half dollar and pit a huge dent in the cab when the bed flexed into it"

"Well I killed someone when my tailgate flew off and flew through there windshield and impaled their face"

"So today I went to the grocery store to pick up a gal of milk and I burnt 10 gals of gas and than my 6 speed transmission went out"

This Actually happened to my knowledge:

"It was an early morning getting ready for hunting and I went to load my 4 wheeler in my new tundra for the first time and the tailgate failed"

"So the guy next door was reving his Tundra to show off newly installed exhaust and the engine blew up. The next morning I watched the tow truck come and get it"

What is the count up to again on Toya Tundra buy backs?

Can you honestly tell me you like the way that thing looks?

Guys,

Did you see his other 13 page thread from New year's Eve? We exposed him as a fraud. He does not own anything, his daddy might, but he doesn't. He is a 10th grade high school kid from Epping High in NH. He went off the deep end and as soon as the mods see his posts in that thread, he will be history.

Don't give him the satisfaction. He's just a kid trying to get attention.

Happy New Year!!!

    • I have thought an EV might have some practical value in extending the life of the ICE members of ones fleet. Now....I'm convinced of it. I've been letting my better half access Raven (Mitsubishi Mirage) for her needs while Dizzy has been in the shop. Being the fuel freak I am and given the fact Raven is capable of over 60 mpg in clean air on a warm day I was taken back by the wife's ability to take a car that had used a half a tank of gas that to that point had returned a value of 57 mpg and return in with a decimating 51 mpg for that same tank in that same day in a 15 mile round trip of short hop errands and a stop in the drive through at Micky D's.  😱   Trust me on this. It would take the remainder of that tank driven on the highway to return that tank to just 54 mpg. This is not a Mitsubishi issue. This is an ICE issue that is magnified in vehicles capable of such high fuel economy values. On a percentage basis your 1500 does the same thing. Short hopping an ICE consumes a good deal more fuel and in doing so provides zero additional useable outputs. That entire volume of fuel is wasted in diluting the cylinder walls oil films, creating crankcase moisture and acid content and the resultant wear.    Enter the SLATE. All of that is avoided and the ICE's advantage in range and made useful at reduced wear for your ICE!   Kind'a cool.
    • Back in the day people would buy cars based on performance. The charger posted does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. And it’s fully loaded.  It has a decent warranty and will fit most anyone’s needs. Remember the original Hemi? 90 day warranty. 25K mini truck or that car? I’d go with the car. It wouldn’t fit my perimeter. If I could just talk my wife out of her Genesis. It would be perfect for her.
    • Let's pivot this back. Someone said they wanted pictures.   Even better, there's already video. Pre-prod prototypes are already on the road and they're letting the press drive them.   JerryRigEverything did a good review. I really enjoy his content and EV adventures, so I was thrilled when he had the chance to review a Slate:
    • The Charger EV was stillborn. Wrong car at the wrong price for Dodge's intended audience. Now at a good price with fire-sale discounts, and still not selling, it's still very much the wrong car. Again, Dodge's intended audience. I believe a lot of Stellantis' EV blunders were all under Tavares' regime at Stellantis...the board convinced him to move on. Neat car, just wasn't received on the level that would sustain mass production.   Dodge is headed in a better direction for its core business. I didn't think there was anything left to get excited about re: the Durango after its 15 year run, but they're just now releasing a 392 version that should price out in the low 40's. Nicely done. I'm not sure I would touch anything Stellantis makes with a 10' pole these days, but the Durango is still mostly parts designed like 3 parent companies ago so maybe it's still OK?
