I'm sure this has been asked a million times. But how do I add an aux port for my mp3 player? I have an '05 silverado with the Bose 6 disc and xm radio. I use the XM. If anyone has does this is it fairly easy? Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions!

I did it for a few bucks. You need the wiring diagram for the XM unit, You go of the XM outputs that run to the radio and connect the wires to it. I installed a 3.5mm jack in the dash, when you tune the xm radio to channel 0, there is no sound from the xm module and you can use the port, It will display the radio ID on the screen but it works without the horrible FM modulation and it does not cost a fortune.
