On a 2007 Yukon XL Denali with the Bose system can I just unplug the factory sub and entend the wire and hook up a small sub box or bazooka. Has anyone tried this or had it done. Thanks

All of their components are very closely engineered to work in concert. They use frequency curves to correspond very closely to the components they are driving and the design of the system is more than just an amp to provide more power to the speakers. As component pieces in a mixed system they suck, as part of a whole system they are decent for what they are.

 

Personally I would never mess with the engineering of any BOSE system.
