Grind And Growl In 4wheel Drive

Hello All, I'll try posting in this section, I tried the platform specific but didn't have any luck.

I was wondering if anyone can look up or find the specifics on "TSB 01-04-18-001D"

Ever since I've bought my truck (05 silverado crew z-71 65,000 miles on it), whenever I put it in 4 high, there's a definite grinding/growling noise coming from the transfer case and/or front differential. Not when i'm going around a corner or turning at slow speeds to bind up the front axle. Just going straight down a road, snow or no snow, doesn't make a difference, it's there. Let off the gas and it goes away, or is just barely audible.

Taken it to the dealer and got the usual "that's normal for your truck", just like the clunky 2-3 shift, which i think there's a TSB out on as well. They won't acknowledge that anything might be wrong. Before I go in and ask them to look up the TSB, I'd appretiate if I could take a look at what it has to say. That way i can be very direct (yet polite) about the facts.

If this truly is just "normal" and doesn't have any long term side-affects, then I'll accept it. But you know when you get that feeling in your gut that somethings wrong, I've got it.

Is there anybody else out there with similar conditions...Thoughts, opinions, remedies?

Take care, stay safe, and thank you.
