Engine Swap

I am thinking about changing the engine in my 2004 Sierra, 5.3 L, 2 wheel drive, when GM releases the lsx crate engine at the end of 2008.

My question is, can I just do a swap? Or will I have to buy the gm wiring hareness that is designed for the lsx engine? Or anything else?

 

Any help will be appreciated.

Dont quote me. From what i have read about it, everything should bolt right back up to it. I'm sure you will have to get a new ECM or re-program yours to work.
