Creaking Seats

Does anyone else have this problem, and what did you do to fix it? When taking off from a start or cornering, which puts pressure against the seat, my drivers seat back creaks loudly as if dry metal was rubbing together. By the way, it's a 2007 Sierra SLE Classic 2500HD.

i had this problem too on my 2006 1500. it was under warranty and made the deale fix it. all they did was pretty much lube the sh!t out of it, re lube the tracks and tighten down the bolts for the seat.

 

im sure ur still under warranty with on 07, so if u can let the dealer worry about it and fix. make sure you do a drive along so they hear it and tell them that re lubing it usually does the trick.. otherwise they might give you the "unable to duplicate noise"

yeah sounds like all the adjusting parts & joints are too dry & need lubricated.

in 03 i bought a new 2500hd and after 300 miles mine started doing the same thing took it back to the stealer and one of their trained monkeys told me it was the foam in the seat rubbing against the cloth fabric and the leather seats did not do that,just bought an 02 3 months ago with leather and it does the same thing maybe its just my 230 lb big ass causing it
