Fs: Complete Touchscreen Gm Nav System With Cdx

I am offering a complete GM nav system (touchscreen nav radio for the premium Bose system, 6-disc pocket CD changer, wiring harness for the changer, GPS antenna and v 5.0 navdisc)...everything is in perfect condition. My sister-in-law wanted to it to put in her Tahoe (after she saw the install I did, including doing the lux amp upgrade), but after I bought all the parts, she couldn't go through with it due to financial issues!

I am looking for $1100 for everything. If you don't want to go through the amp swap that the lux option requires, here is a much easier way to get GPS navigation in one stop!

PM me if interested.

Sorry, should have clarified: this system is for the 03-06 GMT800 series trucks/SUV's.

I'll try to post some pictures tonight.

Here is the HU and the CDX (with harness to the rear and navdisk on top). The GPS antenna is not pictured, as it is enroute to my house (new).

Is this unit unlocked?

No...it came out of an 06 Escalade, and will need to be unlocked once installed. I found a local independent shop (not a dealer) who did the unlock for nothing when I put my system in last month...the only way to go!

I have a couple questions that maybe you can answer for me, since it sounds like you already did a conversion.

First: I currently have a 2004 Silverado with the Bose, 6 disc changer option, do you know if this would just be a plug and play, or is it more then that?

Secondly: Do you know if the factory redundant radio steering wheel controls work with this system, or does a person need different or extra wiring, or something to make them work again?

Also my truck has Onstar, is that the same antenna that is used for the GPS, or does it need a seperate antenna?

You're right, I did a full conversion a month ago.

You would pull your current HU, and the TNR fits in the exact same space. You will need to add the GPS antenna (and the TNR has the extra place for it to plug into), cut open the lower pocket for the CD changer, and run the wiring harness. The wires then need to be connected into the two existing harnesses at the back of the TNR. I soldered my connections, but they can be connected with Scotchlocs.

The TNR uses a separate and different antenna from OnStar: it mounts under the dash pad.

All your existing controls (steering wheel, rear seat audio, etc.) will work just the same as before: that is a benefit of using a GM system: it was designed for our trucks!

I will include complete detailed installation instructions with the system. And then you do like I did and sell the old radio on ebay for $140!!!
