Replacement Tpms Sensors

Recommended Posts

I have a sensor on my burban that just stopped transmitting, and another that reads inconsistently. It has a 20 psi variation in the readings it puts out.

Has anyone else had them give unreliable readings like this?

I have read that they're supposed to be very accurate, but am not sure if thats true.

Also, where should I buy them? Found some new on ebay for fairly cheap.

Thanks,

I had to get an extra set for my winter tires. I got them from Discount Tires. Never had a problem. Well eccept while carrying the other wheels in the bed of the truck it read all 8 sensors and was an error. So I had to go home and drop off the one set and go back to get them reset. I think Discount Tire is cool cause you can always negotiate there prices. Never found out why, but I don't care!

Good Luck!

I didnt know discount tire sold tpms. So if I wanted a set of aftermarket wheels/tires...I could buy everything from discount tire including tpms all installed and truck system reset/programmed ready to go?

Or would the dealer still need to get involved with programming?

Out the door! I got these wheels, tires, and pressure monitors from them. They programmed them for me too.
