Rear-end Knocking

I have a 2004 Silverado and I have a ongoing problem with a knocking noise from the rear end. It normally happens after leaving a stop light or rolling thru a stop sign then applying the gas again. It is not really loud, but sounds bad. I have had it checked out at the dealer twice and they say it is fine. Any info our there?

If you've taken it to the dealer, then I would guess they've checked everything, but just in case, have you checked to see if the universal joints are bad? I would also make sure the exhaust tail pipe isn't loose, or the spare tire. Try shaking the bed of the truck back and forth to see if you can hear where it's coming from. Could be a wheel bearing. Anyway, hope you solve your problem soon!
