Needing a fuel pump for a 99 Silverado 1500 5.3. Why do fuel pumps show different broadcast codes, TCF and TNK?

 

Will it make a difference on which one should be used even though they both say they will fit my vehicle?

i go to my parts manager and say"I need a fuel pump and filter",I get it and put it in,what the hell is a broadcast code?,do not go nuts here is what i'm saying,

Thanks! It was driving me crazy....... online supplier listed "broadcast codes" but yhey couldn't tell me why. Put pump in yesterday and all is well.
