New Shocks Installed

I installed new shocks this past weekend on my 05 CC 1500. So far I am pleased. I went with the Monroe Reflex which are a monotube design and much cheaper than Bilstien, Edlebrock, or KYB. I was looking to improve overall ride and handling without too firm of ride. The truck turns more responsive and floating sensation is reduced significantly. My needs were not great, but were budget minded, and the Reflex's reviews were good. I am not sure how much better the others mentioned would be but would recommend these.

What a great (and easy) way to make the truck feel better. Good to see feedback on the Reflex for those who might have the same need.

Installed them last night, Man, what a difference!! I guess at 110,000 miles on the stocks (bought truck with 93,000), it was definetly time!!

I've got 166,000 miles on the original shocks. Still good too!

I am still grinning about mine. I actually enjoy driving my truck more than before......... Looking forward to new tiers (still stock) now!
