2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4x4, odometer 650 miles

What could be causing a faint rattle noise heard on the drivers side, that develops after the vehicle has warmed up. The noise sounds somewhat "tinny", like a small bird whistleing. I thought it might be belt noise or wind, but after the truck is warmed up for 30 minutes or so, I can get the noise by applying accelerator while in park. I hear it starting around 1500RPM and it is the same faint sound whether at 30mph or 70 mph. A service tech told me it was "exhaust resonance" and that there was a TSB out for it which stated that the sound was common in this model and that the exhaust could be realigned or a counter weight would be welded onto some yet to be determined part of the exhaust to fix it. I haven't been able to find any reference to a TSB for "exhaust resonance" searching the web or by calling GM and I haven't had time yet to get back to the dealer to ask the service tech to show me the TSB he mentioned. Any ideas?

Man... you are in for a long haul if you are already seeking tiny rattles to complain about at 650 miles. What do you think you bought? It is a frikkin truck after all. Did you get out of your grandfather's Buick and buy it?

Well, for those of us who aren't evil clowns and find those type of noises really annoying, I'd push 'em to at least try to fix it. Have the service manager go for a ride and see if they really think it's "normal." Because that does sound rather odd... but at least see if they'll print out the TSB for you, should one exist.

No, I didn't get out of my grandfather's Buick, I got out of my '92 Toyota pickup (original owner) with 206,000 miles. As a young man I beat the hell out of that truck and took it across the country a couple of times. That truck has not one rattle, not one malfunction, not one break down and I was hoping I would get the same quality out of an American truck. Are you telling me I am asking too much from GM and the UAW?

Update: I went back to my dealer and the TSB I was given may be the one you reference. The service manager states that this TSB is for an 07 V8 Crew Cab and the sheet he gave me is titiled "Document ID#20602205, 2007 GMC Sierra-4WD", but the models listed only state Extended Cab or Regular Cab with 4.3L engines. Your thoughts??
