Shawn84
PA is the biggest Volunteer state for Firefighters. So where are all the Northeastern Firefighters here? There should be a lot since most firemen drive pick-ups. My station is like 65% silverado owners. Also say a bit about your company. Rescue Fire Company 37 (2 Stations) www.rescuefireco37.com Run an 1992 Spartan Darley Engine/Rescue,2006 Pierce 75' Quint,2002 KME Heavy Rescue, 2 SUVs (EMS/Water Rescue), 5 Boats and a 1982 Mack Tanker. Shawn84
Nice station. And I love your ladder. We've got a nearby company that have a Pierce Lance 105' Quint. Tallest ladder in the county and it runs under the unit designation Engine 44.
GMCSierraSLE1500
Nice station. And I love your ladder. We've got a nearby company that have a Pierce Lance 105' Quint. Tallest ladder in the county and it runs under the unit designation Engine 44. That sure is different, a quint being called an Engine, I guess it's different depending on the location of it. Our ladder is to my knowledge second biggest in my county, one town about maybe 20-25 mins away has a 110' ladder but is rarely used where they are at as it only has 2 drivers that can actually drive it go figure. Shawn84
ya there are 3 quints in our County all running as Engines. That's because County 911 refuses to acknowledge Quint as a radio designation. Our quint will most likely be changing it's designation to Truck within the next 3 years.
