Pto/idle Up On 5.3l 04 Silverado

I work out in the field, and have a 2500w power inverter in my truck to charge cordless drill batteries, laptop, and my airdata multimeter. I also charge my camper battery through the trailer harness, and have to jump start the occasional vehicle.

 

I know some vehicles have the PTO function, and you can bring the idle speed up from the cruise control switches when you turn the PTO on. I was wondering if the idle up/PTO function is available on a 2004 Silverado 1500 w/ the 5.3L. Some have told me no, some have told me yes...

 

I know some commercial trucks have the idle up function, where if the vehicle is parked (parking brake on), you can turn the cruise control on, and when you hit the set button, it will run the RPM up to a certain point. Hitting accel will raise to up to a max setpoint (usually a few hundred RPM above the base point.)

 

Is this an option that can be turned on inside the PCM, or through loading a different program to the PCM?

looked it up on GM service information and you can not adjust the idle on your truck
