i wake up sunday to a beautiful sunny day, my g/f was visiting me at school for the weekend, i slept til 230, things were great. but then i step outside........

 

 

so, as you can see, someone decided my tires would make a nice chopping block. wtf. like theres nothing better do? the one tire has like 3 in it, as if they couldnt get it through and they wanted to make sure it worked. its not personal, someone hit 2 other cars that same night- which makes it that much worse. i just dont udnerstand why someone would do such a thing.

 

and since these arent stock sized, my spare was too small, and i couldnt find my size tire in the area. so, i needed to get 2 used 265s (my bro had his spare too) so i could have 4 the same size. now im 160 in the hole. freakin wonderful.

 

so now im driving around on 3 different kinds of tire, 2 of which are almost done for, one thats 3 years old, its ridiculous.

There's nothing I hate more than vandals. Do people really have that little respect for other people's stuff nowadays? If I ever found who did that, they'd end up stuck to my tires.

When I went to school in the 80's I had a nice looking '77 Camaro. It was vandalized repeatedly. Somebody kicked a huge dent into the left rear quarter panel. I had the dent fixed for like $ 150 (big money for a student back then), and some SOB kicked in the same panel at the same place again several days later. That did it. I sold the car and bought an inconspicuous used Ford Fiesta. Nobody ever touched that car, no matter where on campus I parked it. Which leads me to believe that damage to my Camaro was not personal - it was just a wanton act of jealousy because somebody owned a nice looking car and somebody was green with envy. So things were not much better 20 years ago.

Yeah that really sucks, we had some vandals come around a few years ago and they decided it would be cool to tip one of our grain wagons on its side and then go to the neighbors farm and knock the mirrors off of their semis. Good thing nobody was around because the vandals would have had a couple bullets stuck in the block of their car or truck.

I know how it feels though, this summer someone decided to key a bunch of cars at a college football game, and of course they couldn't pass up my shiny just washed truck. I about popped a vein in my forehead, nothing you can really do about it though.

Since you mentionned you were near some school (that I assume was a college or university) it was probably some greenie weenie who thought was doing nature a favour.

That's just awful. The world is full of *ssh*les. I know how I felt when some sh*tbag vandalized my truck, stole my stereo on another occasion, and broke into my house.
