Keyless Entry

Ok, so I've got just about everything set up and working with my remote start. The only thing that still has bugs is the lock/unlock feature. As of right now, I have it tied in at the fuse box, and so whenever I use the remote start remote to unlock it, it sets off the factory alarm. Does anyone know where to find the factory keyless entry module/wires? If I could splice into those, it would solve my problem.

2008 GMC 2500HD. Just had All American Canopy, Portland, OR. install a Leer 100XQ.

This canopy has remote locking and the function works with the factory remote locking system. They ran a Leer cable up the left side of the truck, into the cab, into the cable

conduit into the driver door and tied into the truck remote locking controller in the driver door. They knew exactly which color wire to tap into.

 

When I lock my truck, the canopy locks. When unlocking, the canopy unlocks.
