pacodiablo Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 well after tons of turmoil over new company vehicles, i finally know what i will be getting for sure when i get back from vacation, an f-150 super crew. that will be 3 f-150s in my possesion and that makes me happy!! the truck will be a 2wd xlt s-crew with a SnugTop Snuglid tonneau. my company figured out that these would be more useful than SUVs and pickups, so they got some. i know some of you will say that we should have gotten AVs, but we can get s-crews for $8000 less and s-crews are more work oriented and suit our needs better.
DigUout Posted December 23, 2001 Author Posted December 23, 2001 Do you get to trick it out to suit your personal, uhh, tastes? *Blah, Blah!*
DigUout Posted December 23, 2001 Author Posted December 23, 2001 Are fuzzy dice within company regulations?
pacodiablo Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 yep, they do not permanetly damage or alter the truck, so they are within company vehicle policy!!
chevy4x4trucks Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 Geez paco, you don't need three fords. March up to your boss and tell him you'd rather have a silverado.
Stepside Z Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 Do you want to sell any parts off it? LOL
pacodiablo Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 no, lol. this one is too pretty, and i don't think i can convince jon that xlt parts will make his truck look like an LT! ;)
Shaners Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 I guy at work has one (4x4), and it looks good until you see the dwarf bed on it.....
Kansas Kid Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 I guy at work has one (4x4), and it looks good until you see the dwarf bed on it..... My thoughts exactly! I can not stand the look of that tiny little bed, make the back end of the truck look deformed to me... Guess they are good as a people hauler though.
Jpshostr Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 I guy at work has one (4x4), and it looks good until you see the dwarf bed on it..... You got that right. If you are going to make a truck, at least give the dang thing a useful bed. I guess they can't because the soccer moms can't park them at Walmart then. They need themselves a dang Toyota car for that kind of stuff, but I forgot, they need the 4x4, high riding, rough riding, and $$$$ fullsize pickup to haul the kid to school.
pacodiablo Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 If you are going to make a truck, at least give the dang thing a useful bed. it's useful for what we are doing with it. it can carry boxes, barrels, and luggage. if we want to carry 8 90-gal drums we will use an 8ft bed truck, the s-crew is more for people hauling with some work than it is full time hauler
ryr8828 Posted December 23, 2001 Posted December 23, 2001 Supercrew good Avalanche GREAT The Supercrew is a good ride especially since your company is eating the massive depreciation.
