Which Exhaust Should I Get

I just bought a 2004 AWD Yukon Denali with the V8 6.0 Vortec Engine two days ago. On the way home from the dealership, i picked up a drop in K&N filter ( I have done that with every vehicle that I have bought). I want to add a Borla, Flowmaster, Magnaflo, Etc muffler. Not a cat back, just a muffler. I want all of the power that they add but do not want any sound. This is a luxury vehicle, I do not want the sound of a off road truck. Any suggestions?

Also, I am thinkiing of adding a TBS. Does anyone have some positive experience with these. I need to knoe if they DO ad MPG and i am also concerned with the whistling sounds they make. Is there a model that does not make this sound?

You can do a search for a lot of various opinions regarding exhaust systems. For the 6.0, I'd suggest either leaving it stock, or go with the Corsa Touring system. It's a large engine that's way louder than the comparable 5.3l I have the Corsa Sport, which you can hear if you click on the link in my sig. But it can be a bit loud at times, hence the suggestion to go with Touring. And no, it's not cheap... but it's 100% worth it.

As for the TBS, don't waste your time/$$$.

Do a search on you tube and listen to them all. See what you like each will sound different. I have a Coras Sport and I'm happy with it. I did allot of recherché and listened to many clips on you tube before I made a decision.

I'll second all of that. The Corsa is great - but if you like sound, get the Sport. If you want quiet, go with the touring. You can go to www.corsaperf.com and hear all the stuff for yourself - the sound clips are pretty close to reality.

Omegafiler your video is hilarious. I do exactly the same thing - drive around in second gear, mostly for the sound!
