Fog Light Issues

Hey guys,

 

I am looking for some input. I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD. The problem I am having is my fog lights have filled up with water all the sudden and have blown out. No big deal i thought until I tried to take the assy. out from the lower valance. The bolts came out fine but I think I may be missing a step. The assy. does not want to come out from where it gets mounted. It gets jammed in there. Does the valance/bumper have to come off to replace these ? Or can the fog light be disconnected from the mouting bracket ? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

I havent looked into removing them. As for the water, there should be a hole in the bottom of the housing to let the water out.
