"nbs" Fuse

Hey guys,

 

I just wired up my after market brake contoller on a 08 sierra, and it needs a 30 amp fuse that I have never seen before. Carquest and Autozone did not have it, It's a square 30 amp fuse to charge the trailer battery. Does anyone one know what there called, or where to get it? Is it a dealer thing?

If I am not mistaken it is a J-type fuse. I bought one for my truck at either Advance Auto Parts or O'Reilly's. Not sure which I bought it from but you shouldn't have to go to the dealer.

I got mine at Carquest. I had a blank in my '04 trailer socket, and the spare was the 30 amp, I pulled the blank and installed the 30 in the trailer socket. Havent checked my 07 yet. But yes, Carquest should have had it, these have been out since 03 I believe, maybe longer.
