Gmt900 Vortec Max Cat Back Exhaust

I have a 2007 GMT900 crew cab short bed with a Vortec Max. I am wanting an exhaust to hear it a little more, but not overbearing. I pull quite a bit and don't want to have a drone but would like to have a little more sound than stock. Any feedback from those who have installed one would be appreciated.

Mine isnt a MAX, but I love my GMPP Touring, no drone...sounds perfect!

if you can afford that stuff go with it, if not, a large Magnaflow muffler is good. a 18" or 22"

The only question is, sport or touring? I have the sport, and it's really no more aggressive than the stock exhaust. This is with the L92 6.2, though. Corsa makes a damn fine product.

I must say I'm pretty impressed with the stock exhaust on these 6.2's. Pretty aggressive sound for stock. I do hate the rear resonator though. It's just plain ugly leaving no point in an exhaust tip. I know I would prefer a corsa as I've heard a few on the vortec but they aren't cheap. My borla was around $450 and that thing looked pretty good after 8 years and 200K with Chicago winters. Corsa is double that. Of corse Borla has gone up significantly also so that is not entirely a good argument. I know, I'm just trying to buy time until I can no longer resist...must resist.....getting weaker...must resist....

 

You say the sport is no more aggressive than stock? I was thinking Touring based on the clips I hears just to keep it a little softer.
