Subthump Box Cu.ft?

I recently picked up a subthump box for my 2006 Sierra Denali. On their website they claim .5 cu.ft per chamber, I have measured the interior dimensions and I can only come up with .392 cu.ft. per chamber. Has anyone else purchased this box or could someone check the dimensions to make sure I didn't calculate it wrong.

 

Width 20.250" Blue

Depth 11.125" Red

Height 1 3.250" Green

Height 2 1.750" Yellow

 

This equals .343 cu.ft

 

Extension on top of box

 

Width 6.000" Violet

Depth 6.000" Orange

Height 1 3.000" Cyan

Height 2 1.750" White

 

This equals .049 cu.ft

 

If you add those together you get .392 cu.ft

sub box calculator Here's a link. just enter your dimensions. you will have to convert to metric but it should work.

Well I just want to let everyone know if you are thinking of purchasing this box to make sure that your subs will work in .384 ft3. This was determined by filling one of the chambers with 46 cups of sand.

 

I ended up paying $35 in shipping charges along with $27 in restocking fees, I feel that people should know that this box isn't what the website claims.
