2002 GMC Sierra Problem

 

I am looking for some assistance before I go to the local auto repair shop, my passenger side window seems to be having a problem, when I use the switch to put the window up or down I hear the motor making the sound it does but the window itself does not go up or down at all, can anyone possible diagnose the problem and any idea what it may run to get fixed depending what the problem is. I am moving south in the coming months and would like a fully functioning window so I can have both windows open.
