Is My Transmission Adjustable

After getting stuck and rocking back and forth to get out, my tranny has a lag when I put it into Drive? Can I adjust it to fix it?

My experience with that symptom is the filter is dirty or the fluid low or both. I would recommend servicing it immediately (changing filter and gasket, refilling with fresh fluid). I would not have it flushed unless you have done regular maintenance. I know more than one person who had a flush done and then had trouble. Turns out that if the fluid is dirty and there is varnish, that replacing all the fluid at once (when you have a flush done) causes the high detergent fluid to do a very good job cleaning things. This tends to plug the filter. If you do choose to have a flush, make sure you keep an eye on things after and change the filter at first sign of any issues. Good luck!
